Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy describes how JhaPay collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you buy tickets, pay merchants, or sell tickets through our platform.
Who we are
JhaPay is a payment and ticketing platform operated by JHAX Inc. ("JhaPay", "we", "us"), based in California, United States. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use jhapay.com and the JhaPay app, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the service:
- — Account information — your name, phone number, and email address, provided when you create an account or check out.
- — Booking information — the events you book, ticket tiers, quantities, amounts paid, and your QR ticket codes.
- — Payment information — payments are processed by third-party payment processors. Your full card number never touches JhaPay’s servers; we receive only a payment reference and the outcome of the transaction.
- — Usage and device information — basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used for security and to keep the service working.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- — Process ticket bookings and payments, and deliver your QR tickets by email.
- — Verify your identity with one-time SMS codes when you sign in or check out.
- — Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- — Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized account access.
- — Comply with legal and tax obligations.
SMS messages
We send SMS messages only to deliver one-time verification codes you request when signing in or checking out. We do not send marketing texts. Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier. You can stop receiving codes by not requesting them; note that a verified phone number is required to sign in.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- — Event organizers — the organizer of an event you book receives your name and contact details as needed to manage attendance and check-in.
- — Payment processors — to process your payment and prevent fraud.
- — Service providers — vendors that deliver email and SMS on our behalf, under contractual confidentiality obligations.
- — Legal authorities — when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of JhaPay, our users, or others.
Data retention
We keep account and booking records for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. You can request deletion of your account by contacting support; we will delete or anonymize your data except where we are required to retain it.
Security
Your data is protected with encryption in transit and secure login. Payments are processed through trusted payment partners. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — please keep your phone number and verification codes private.
Your choices and rights
You can view and update your name, email, and phone number anytime from your account page. Depending on where you live (including under California law), you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To make a request, contact support@jhapay.com.
Children
JhaPay is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of JhaPay after an update means you accept the revised policy.
